I am located in San Diego, CA. However, my practice is telehealth only and offers services to anyone in the state of California. You can conveniently enjoy therapy from the comforts of your own home, office, or any other secure environment (and skip the traffic and extra cost of gas).

Our sessions will be held on an easy-to-use HIPAA-compliant virtual telehealth platform. Some may be hesitant to engage in virtual sessions, however, upon trying it out, most realize it is as effective and productive as in-person therapy. Clients have also found they enjoy the ease and flexibility of jumping into a session between meetings, on their lunch, before work, while the baby is napping, etc. Plus, did I mention you don’t have to deal with traffic or the extra cost of gas?

Yes, I am in network with Aetna, Optum and Cigna.

Fees: Individual sessions are $160 and couples sessions are $175.
Insurance Superbills: These are to be used for insurance companies that I am not in network with. Monthly, I will provide you with a “superbill”. This is something you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of therapy services. Your insurance company may reimburse some percentage of your therapy expense. When and what percentage of reimbursement you receive is contingent on your insurance provider and plan. Contact your insurance company to inquire about the reimbursement limits , percentage and process.
Sliding Scale: I offer sliding scale services based on need. Please inquire to see if I currently have sliding scale spots available.

Our first session will be quite casual, we will ease into this process and go at a pace you are comfortable with. I will gather more information about the problems you are seeking to address in therapy and gather some relevant background information. I will also review intake forms. You are also welcome to ask any questions you may have.

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all model, so there is no one answer here. Some resolve their issues of concerns within a few sessions, and others choose to remain in therapy for months to years. We can further evaluate and discuss in your first session.
